Create minimum of 5x square typographic layouts

For outside and inner sleeve or for an insert

Experiment with the layouts for the 2 tracks 

Include artist’s name, track title, track duration and whether it is on side a or b

Experiment with lyrics layout

Experiment with other typographic elements (quotes)

Considerations:

Typeface, typeface anatomy, typeface? (quick modifications), typeface design 

Kerning, tracking, leading

Line line paragraph 

Widows, orphans, rivers

Choose a word, cut it down, make patterns

Idea: form a curvy riveràdistortion 

Starting point:

Find a grid

Find a number linked to your genre (rhythm, standard number of players) – use it

Find a ratio/ size (3/4 length trousers) – use to quickly modify type àprint out names, at ¾ u cut them 

Print out your text 

I randomly screenshotted an image of rivers in texts from google. I made use of the rivers to create a distortion by flattening all the words to form a really curvy river. 

Size of words!! Blow it up?
