MCIRO GENRE (sb1 until xmas)
Process is more important than outcome. When the outcome drives the process we will only ever go to where we've already been. If process drives outcome we may not know where we’re going, but we will know we want to be there.

-      Set aims
-      Research àjustify all design decisions
-      Develop existing ideas àuse idea as your research
-      Try to create a rule or system (grid…)
-      apply your existing and developing understanding of visual language, visual research and visual thinking to set problems.
-      How you translate the information into something visually
-      investigation of format, function, audience and context
-      different designers’ design approach
-      extensive

-      Printed inner sleeve
-      Decide which 2 tracks will be on your 7” (why them ? Why r they important?)
-      Outside sleeve àmax of 2 colours (as a separation/ overlay)
-      Choice of paper stock, imaginary, colour and typography should be determined by your genre and research
-      10-25 screen prints (allocate 1 day to screen print)
-      Buy your own a 7” record (charity shop)
-      Experiment on how the materials work
-      Make a list of all standard features of a normal record àtake the rules and make your own
-      Experiment on how you use 2 colours to print with
-      Records can have posters, stickers, postcards inside it
-      Hand draw things if it suits
-      Justify the position (why upside down, why put in that way)
