3. Initial ideas design board: 5x initial ideas

Research àfind a grid!! Find a number!! Ratio?
Find something specific about a specific person àto make it more objective
Make sure ALL the elements are justified by your research
- Colour
- Choice of card and paper stock
- Your approach to typography
- Layout/ grid
- Images used and their treatment (collage, painting over, tracing, scanning...)
5x initial ideas– these can be applied to:
7” outer ?(Card) sleeve
7” inner (paper) sleeve
A1 flag
(inserts – stickers, posters, print, etc.)
Research
- on micro-genre (political, social)
- /analysis of design within your micro-genre (find out ideas behind the designs)
- On specific record sleeve designs àanalyze and explain the ideas n reasons behind them
*make it simple on the outer sleeve to make it easier for screen printing
Outer: cardàscreen print
Inner: paper àdigital print
