(SB1) CONTENT, CONTEXT, FORM

PRODUCTION
what is your question?
what are your rules?
what are your experiments for next week?

what is your brief?

what is your book? what should be in your book?
why did I do that? does it make sense to my content? is it relevant?
what if?
alternative directions
every element is gonna communicate an idea to the audience
through - production method, bind, material, stock, typography, page layout, the structure of info
based on your concepts, WHAT ARE YOUR RULES? - develop a set of rules
- based on a grid structure? (typesetting)
- only use recycled materials
- a set way of reading a book, conventions of reading books

- play around with spreads?

- book opens back to front?
- play around with the bleed?
- get the audience become me? become a character?
- edit content, edit experiments
- the layout inside the book, how you want the readers to read your book
- MOCKUPSSS
--> reflection on mockups --> research
