INSPIRIED BY
the effect on macbooks' Photobooth. The background being photoshopped into some images of users' choice. Since some parts of the background is not being detected because often shades and shadows, a really interesting glitching effect was being created on the images.
I would like to apply these photoshopped effects into my final outcome photographs. The glitches can reflect the nature of memories, being incomplete and blurry.
THE IDEA
White clothings, white background. Using shadows to make model pop out, without blending into the background, also to make it easier to create the glitching effects later on. Then photoshop the images, taking away the background, there should be some parts being able to be detached and some not.
Took a few screenshots of different photography work on the internet and tried applying the effect that I would like the final outcome to be onto the backgrounds on the images.
Collabing with Sonja, who is good at drawing, having her mimicking the drawings of kids, I photoshopped her drawings into the background of the photographs. The drawings came out really well, exactly how Iw anted, colourful and playful.
EXPECTED OUTCOME
conclusion:
- shadows should not be that solid in order to make the glitchy effect more obvious.
