OUGD505 MODULE BRIEFING

  • outward facing 

AIMS
  • do research (the range*), how you get the message out there 
  • respond to the research 
  • create a creative outcome 
  • the medium **
--> how you communicate with the audience 
--> find the best appropriate way 
  • role and responsibility as a graphic designer 
  • could be a creative concern 
  • an issue that you want to identify (not only social, political issues) 
  • find smth that you are interested in and identity problems within 

OUTCOME 
  • develop a product 
  • conduct range of research 
  • consider the media and ways of communicating to audience, how they respond to it, how it works 
  • the product should be working and making sense 
  • understand and get a message out of your research 
  • understand potential limitations (why it would work/ not work) 
  • make audience challenge your work
  • get audience to interact 
  • what could happen in the future?
