CONTEXTUAL RESEARCH

FRASER MUGGERIDGE

- It is seen that cold and bright colours were used in the exhibition branding
- The type itself was being use on the vinyls on walls
--> use our type as vinyls on wall
- the art pieces were hung on the wall in random positions
--> we could stick the maps on the walls in a 3x3 grid form to match with the theme
--> one map missing in each grid?

OK RM- UNDER THE SAME SUN

- bold colours were used to catch people's attention
- simple geometrical shapes were used in the whole theme to keep everything simple yet eye-catching
The form of the catalogue also matches with the theme well.
--> have one missing piece in our invites?
COLOURS MAY VARY SHOP LAYOUT
As the space in Colours May Vary is quite small, it would be easier for us to imagine the space and visualise it so that we could make the whole space layout ties well together with our theme. Also, as the place is tiny, we should come up with a way to fit in all of the maps.
--> use tables? tables arranged in a 3x3 grid?

HATO STUDIO- PRINTED WATER
- bright colours, simple shapes and lines
- interactive
--> make it an interactive poster? Having people shifting the blocks?
