Ben said that it would be better if I use the Youtube font that I did for the text on the maps. Therefore, I refined the typeface and put it on Caligraphr to make the typeface into a off file. As this is my first time using Caligraphr, I looked up tutorial videos on how the whole thing works. It was really complicated as you have to download the template from the website, make your whole typeface and put it into the downloaded template and then upload it to the website. The process took me 3 hours and it was worth it. After downloading the font onto my laptop, I could easily change the text into my typeface. If I gave up making the typeface into a tiff file and making it into an actual font, I will have to adjust each letter as an object on Illustrator and undoubtedly it would take me way more than 3 hours to finish everything.
I applied the typeface onto the key and it worked really well in the design as in making it look digital like a laptop screen.
